Starting from January 1, 2020, producers, importers, and first distributors are obliged to report their Put on Market volumes and pay the Recycling Contribution Fee (GEKAP) on a quarterly basis.
Introduced under Environmental Law No. 2872, Recovery Contribution Fee is an environmental levy that applies to specific products and packaging placed on the Turkish market.
